* On 28th October, 1835, Rangatira/Chiefs formed a sovereign government by signing He Wakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Nu Tireni – The Declaration of Independence for New Zealand.
* Britain recognised He Wakaputanga/the Declaration of Independence in 1836. This included a 21-gun salute from HMS Alligator. Then France and the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations acknowledged that too.
* UK Prime Minister Gladstone said in 1838, “There was no evidence that the chiefs of New Zealand had parted with any of their rights of sovereignty, and it behoved the House to be extremely cautious how they consented to any scheme for dispossessing them by underhand means…”
* Lord Normanby stated in 1838, “The Queen, in common with Her Majesty’s immediate predecessor, disclaims, for herself and for her subjects, every pretention to seize on the islands of New Zealand, or to govern them as a part of the dominion of Great Britain.”
* So why did the British claim New Zealand as a colony of NSW on 15 June, 1839?
* Why appoint Captain Hobson as Lieutenant-Governor of New Zealand on 30 July, 1839?
* Why did the British establish a Customs Department for New Zealand in 5 January 1840?
* Why did the British send HMS Herald to declare war on New Zealand on 30 January 1840?
* Why does UK Hansard state the Treaty of Waitangi is without ratification on 11 March 1845?
* Regardless of ratification, why did the Treaty of Waitangi expire by 22 January 1901?
* Why does the New Zealand Ministry of Justice state, “We have concluded that in February 1840 the Rangatira who signed te Tiriti did not cede their sovereignty.”
* What is Contra Preferetum, and why does New Zealand have a constitutional crisis the government won’t address?
* Will NZ ever resolve these issues without a race war?
* Amos 3:3 asks, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”
