Allan grew up in South Africa and immigrated to New Zealand in 1994. He is a New Zealand Citizen. He and his wife Maleta have been married for 43 years. They have two married daughters and four amazing grandchildren. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology and Physical Education, as well as further qualifications in Industrial Relations and Human Resources.  Allan has extensive international business experience having worked in South Africa, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Prior to immigrating he and his family had a very successful family business. For about eight years Allan was an active member of Moed Ministries. For five of those years, he and Maleta were part of the leadership of Moed Ministries. He has had the privilege of teaching in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom and the United States.
