The CEO and the Founder of Wai Ora Christian Community Trust Whanganui, and Cofounder of Te Puna O Wai Ora Maori Fellowship Whanganui and the associate Pastor. Also she is Founder and director of Te Kakano Kainga Ora, Maori Housing Business. Building healthy affordable homes with SIP panel designs and SIP panel factory for manufacturing.

Marama sits on several community Boards in Whanganui, mainly training them how to set up and run. Her Education Qualifications include General & Obstetric nursing, and Diplomas in Social Work, Christian Counselling, Biblical Studies and Christian leadership, adult teaching level 4, Assessor training NZQA. Widely travelled to many nations to train ministry people into Leadership and church planting and a member of Maori Mission NZ for over 50 years. She also author a book, Kapai Kai.
